If you’re planning your Vegas HR Tech Conference trip, there’s no doubt that you’re browsing Yelp for the best places for the best places to eat. There’s no shortage of amazing eats in Sin City, but narrowing it down can be tough. We’ve taken the guesswork out of figuring out where to grab lunch, the best place to take clients, scouting a late-night munchies spot and more. Take a look at TalentObjects’ guide to the best places to eat during #HRTechConf.
Best Breakfast/Brunch Spot
If grabbing coffee on the way to your first session just isn’t going to cut it, you’ve got options. Sit down for a hangover-curing, enormous breakfast at Hash House A Go Go at The Plaza Hotel and Casino or if you have more time, the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace is quite possibly the best breakfast and brunch buffet on The Strip. If you’re looking for something closer to the conference, go for an Irish breakfast at Ri Ra Irish Pub at The Shoppes at Mandalay Bay Place.
When It’s Time For a Nice Dinner
Whether you just want to escape the craziness, you’re looking for a nice place to eat on the company’s dime or you want to impress clients, Vegas has some pretty great restaurants you can brag about when you get home. Lago at The Bellagio is about as good as it gets since they serve up amazing Italian with a hard-to-beat view of The Bellagio fountains. Mastro’s Ocean Club Crystals at City Center is what you might call fancy shmancy, but hey, when in Vegas! For an impressive, casual dinner, visit L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and if you don’t want to venture too far, Aureole is the way to go at Mandalay Bay.
Quick and Easy
Casual, trendy hotspots are everywhere, but there are a few that you’ll definitely want to check out. Anchor Bar at the The Venetian is relatively new and has wings that are hard to beat, while one of the best quick burgers you’ll find in Vegas is at Bobby’s Burger Palace at Aria. For some great people watching and a patio like you won’t find at many Vegas restaurants, Mon Ami Gabi has a great French lunch menu. Near the conference, Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay is the place to be.
Late Night Eats
When you finally stumble out of the casino at about 3 a.m. (or 10 p.m. – no judgment here for those who need their beauty sleep), grab some food instead of heading back to the hotel and ordering a tragic room service pizza. The Grand Lux Café at The Venetian has a huge late night menu, while Earl of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood offers delicious, classic midnight (read: drunk) grub. Also great options, Tacos and Tequila at Luxor, Secret Pizza at The Cosmopolitan (there’s no signage, but look for the line on the third floor of the casino, down the record-covered hallway) and Five50 Pizza Bar at Aria won’t disappoint.
